
So open the Device Manager and you will see that Windows is identifying the HP Optical Mouse as " HP USB-C to DisplayPort Adapter" which is causing the issue. If you change the optical mouse with any other mouse (PS/2 or USB) it works, but with the USB HP Optical Mouse it doesn't!


The mouse just stops responding and if you reconnect the mouse to other USB ports, the issue remains. This is related with recent Windows Drivers and we are trying to identify which update is causing the issue.
